Welcome
back! I hope that you had a great
summer: you played, rested, slept, did
one or two really wacky things, etc….
Now that you’re back, you will most likely spend some time catching up
with friends, sharing stories, telling everyone about the wacky thing(s?) you
did.
I
would like to suggest that you add one more person to your must-see list this
week: one of your favorite
professors. Don’t wait until class, when
they’ll be juggling syllabi, waiting list students who all showed for the class
hoping to get in, or issues with TigerPaws/TLearn. Drop by for a minute or two in the next
couple of days. For those of you who
just declared (or is in the process of declaring) your major, maybe this is a
good time to meet your new advisor.
This
is the bright, shiny, new week of the bright, shiny, new semester. Take advantage of your homework-free,
workstudy-free, and reading-free week!
